Working with Everyone

Having spent the last eight years providing support to various schools across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire I understand the need to create a bespoke service to meet the needs of your school. This provision may include one to one and group counselling for students, deliver of the ‘happy to be me’ programme, one to one and group reflective practice for staff and training on various areas e.g. attachment, loss, bereavement, trauma, child/teen brains, exam stress.

The aim of offering these services in schools is to:

Increase attendance and achievement of students and staff

Inspire positive family and multi-agency engagement

Encourage positive behaviour

Shape individuality, resilience and self-efficacy

Teachers & Students

Enhance emotional well being of students and staff and increase staff ability to understand and manage various mental health issues within a school setting.

“Siobhan conducted herself professionally at all times and had a significant impact on many of our young people. She has a wealth of knowledge around a wide range of issues that affect the students. This has proved invaluable to the staff, offering extra insight into students’ presenting behaviours,  suggesting useful and successful strategies to help manage them. Siobhan is able to form positive and productive relationships quickly, allowing swift progression to be made and the students’ goals to be met. She has worked with students with a wide range of issues and the feedback from students has been nothing but positive”.  Leonie Smikle (Behaviour Support Coordinator – Nottingham Academy)

“Every time I leave Siobhan’s soothing office, I am glowing with gratitude. I always remind myself of how lucky this world is to have such a wonderful person/ resource in our midst. I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to find peace and joy in their relationship with self and others. ”
